Jerri Bland, Ed.D. is the CEO of Digital Futures, Inc. and the Founder and Executive Director of STEM Futures Academy, Inc. Jerri previously served as the Deputy Chief Information Officer for Columbia University and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enterprise Applications for The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After 20 years implementing enterprise level application and business process technology for government agencies and higher education institutions, Jerri refocused her talents to support small businesses and non-profits. She encourages a creative approach to assessing current process flows and visualizes how technology can elevate overall business performance to the next level. Jerri believes that a positive connection between people, processes, and technology is a pivotal component of success for any business. Jerri is a project management professional (PMP) and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.
Jerri has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of New Orleans, a Master of Public Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a doctorate in higher education administration from The George Washington University. Jerri enjoys ringing handbells and rowing in her free time and serves as a member of the International Advisory Board for Carolina Performing Arts.
